DAY (1) ARRIVAL IN YANGON (RANGOON)
Welcome by our local guide and transfer to hotel. Depending on arrival time, we will tour the city for some sightseeing. Overnight in Rangoon.

DAY (2) RANGOON TO RAMREE ISLAND
Fly to Kyaukphyu (Ramree Island), a major landing site by the British and Allied Force’s Navy during WWII.
Overnight at a guest house in Kyaukphyu.

DAY (3) RAMREE ISLAND
Sightseeing in Kyaukphyu (Ramree Island) to include some of the battle grounds, for example, Black rock mountain and a nearby landing site. Overnight in Kyaukphyu.

DAY (4) RAMREE ISLAND TO YANBYAE
Drive to Yanbyae. Explore the town and stay overnight at a guest house in Ramree.

DAY (5) RETURN TO RAMREE ISLAND
Drive back to Kyaukphyu (Ramree Island). Overnight at a guest house.

DAY (6) RETURN TO RANGOON
Fly to Rangoon. Sightseeing of the city and environ. Overnight in Rangoon.

DAY (7) RANGOON TO KALEMYO
Fly to Kalemyo. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Visit nearby Chin village and overnight at Lalemy.

DAY (8) KALEWA
Drive to Kalewa, a retreat route of British Army to India along the Chocolate Stairway.

DAY (9) MAWLEIK
Excursion by boat to an old colonial town of Mawleik. Sightseeing in the small town where some of the colonial style buildings can still be found. In the late afternoon, return to Kalewa by boat. Overnight in Kalewa.

DAY (10) MONYWA
Kalewa to Monywa by boat along the Chindwin river. Overnight in Monywa.

DAY (11) MONYWA - MANDALAY
Sightseeing in Monywa including a visit to Kyaukka village where we can visit the Shweguni Pagoda and witness the production of fine traditional lacquer ware making.
In the afternoon drive to Mandalay via WWII famous Sagain Bridge across the Irrawaddy river. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day (12) MANDALAY
Full day sightseeing in Mandalay that includes some religious monuments, handicraft workshops, a well known monastery with 800 Buddhist monks, and a visit to a century old Teak bridge (U Pein Bridge). We end the day by watching the sunset on top of the Mandalay Hill.
Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY (13) RANGOON
Fly to Rangoon. Today, you will have leisure time on your own. Overnight in Rangoon.

DAY (14) DEPARTURE
Transfer to Rangoon International Airport for your return flight.
